How to beat the heat this summer!

With summer securely in tact and all the kids out of school, the heat is upon us.  The 4th of July is right around the corner and red, white and blue decorations are scattered among the shops and businesses.  All around the world, there is constant chatter about how hot it is and how its going to be the hottest year on record – again.  So with the heat looming before you, what is there to do?  In Seattle, there are many years where our fireworks are watched under a fuzzy blanket to battle the chill.  The running joke tends to be that summer doesn’t start until July 5th.  But luckily this year we are early!  It will be sunny and 77 and perfect out.  So we are planning to float one of the rivers near here – and if you are looking for a way to cool off, so can you!!  CLICK HERE to access some of the river floats around the country.

Floating a river not quite your style?  Looking for something a bit more… European?  One of my friends is out in Budapest enjoying a summer trip there and discovered one of the cities cool off places.  A natural hot spring feeds into some of the 21 pools giving off wonderful hot tub vibes with a twist of mineral health benefits.

Can’t make it to Europe… but want something… tropical?  There are some amazing last minute cruise deals out there if some food and relaxation is up for grabs, where kids go free and you can save up to 70% off the second passenger.  I’ve been able to arrange some trips for people for less than $1500 for the week including flights!

Your summer doesn’t have to be one without incredible memories, be spontaneous and create some new ones!
